OUR TEAM

Nathan and I have been married for 25 years and have two beautiful daughters. We have been blessed as a family through all of the ups and downs. My hobbies/interests include kayaking, crocheting, and reading. I have served here at Cornerstone for the past 12 years, first as the youth pastor and then as the lead pastor since 2018. Serving in almost every area of ministry for the past 30+ years has shaped who I am as a person and a pastor. My passion for loving God and loving others is what keeps me going every day. It is my prayer that everyone who visits Cornerstone in-person or online experiences God’s abundant love in a real and tangible way.

I am a single father with a passion for helping teens grow in their faith and confidently explore what they believe. I previously served in children’s ministry and was on staff at North Heartland Community Church. As a former non-believer, I developed a deep interest in Christian apologetics and enjoy helping students engage with the historical Jesus of Nazareth and the foundations of the Christian faith. I love creating an environment where teens feel safe to ask questions, explore their beliefs, and strengthen their faith while discovering a lasting anchor in Christ. I am currently in the ordination process within the Wesleyan tradition and remain committed to discipling the next generation to know, understand, and live out their faith.

 I have been attending Cornerstone since 2014 and have the joy of serving as the Worship Leader. Music has always been an important part of my life, and leading worship allows me to combine creativity with my passion for helping people connect with God. I believe worship is not about performance but about genuine connection. My desire is for every person at Cornerstone to feel free to worship without pressure, comparison, or fear of judgment. I often remind people they are free to worship in the way that helps them connect with God. I am married and the mom of two energetic boys in middle and elementary school who keep life busy and joyful. Outside of church and work, I enjoy story-driven video games and creating art through drawing and painting. My goal is to help cultivate an environment where people can respond to God authentically and grow in their relationship with Him. 

 I have been coming to Cornerstone since high school with my now husband and his family. We have been married since 2011, have two kids, Katie (13), and Hannah (8), and three wonderful boy cats that complete our household. I love to do puzzles, play cards, and help people out when they need it. Our Children's Ministry is called Spark! Together we are about kindness, loving, and sharing God with others. I was drawn to the Children's Ministry in 2023 when I realized there wasn't anything for my kids to do in church, and not learning what needed to be taught, because, as a kid, I always loved children's church and Sunday school. I'm so glad we were able to bring these things together to share the Word of God with them. Spark: Kindness, loving, and sharing God with others.
